RADIO

RADIO is a collection of my audio(visual) samples. Narratives, comments, audio notes, sound play. They are not necessarily related to each other in a sense of consistent series. Some of them are being published at the exhibitions and symposiums.

My grandparents were radio journalists. I was always fascinated by them. It feels good to think about this part of my practice as the legacy of our relationship.

INTRODUCTION: ‘The Application’ was created in the context of applying for residencies. A voice-over commentary comes from my audio notes and is among others about the attractiveness of art, about attention and the lack of concentration; the repeatability and triviality of daily life activities. The work is a part of the cycle ‘To eat.’
